Dishoom: from India with love

Fans of the Irani café-via-Bombay eatery Dishoom can now get their chai fix in Kensington

Dishoom Kensington's Art-Deco interior

Designed as a tribute to 1940s Bombay, a hotbed of Art Deco and jazz, the elegant new venue is rather fittingly located within the Art Deco Barkers building, and diners can get ready to sip on new cocktails inspired by the Bombay jazz age, such as The Rudy Cotton (blood orange, white rum, lime juice, lemon bitters) and The Cyrus Irani (lime juice, tequila, tumeric-honey lassi syrup), along with old favourites.

More good news – Dishoom’s generous meal-for-a-meal initiative, which has seen over 3 million meals donated to school children in both London and India through partnerships with Magic Breakfast and The Akshaya Patra Foundation, continues here.

As part of the launch, Dishoom hosted dinner with Night At The Bombay Roxy, an immersive Indian noir theatre production by Swamp Studios based on the fascinating stories that inspired Dishoom Kensington.

Dishoom Kensington opens 15 December 2017, Derry Street, W8 5SE
