Thomas Pink releases the Resort Shirt collection

The new spring/summer shirt range takes design inspiration from a ’50s classic

Style 23 May 2023

Summer may be on the horizon, but the British weather so far has been predictably mediocre. So, we can’t blame Thomas Pink for jetting off to the party island of Ibiza to shoot its sun-drenched summer campaign for the new Resort Shirt collection.

The British shirtmaker – after a brief hiatus – launched its London flagship on the prestigious Jermyn Street late last year and has been going from strength to strength ever since. Renowned for its classic, quality shirts at accessible price points, ranging from well-made dress shirts to more jazzy Bengal stripe patterns and accessories, Thomas Pink’s latest collection takes design cues from a vintage favourite.

Specifically, the new 100 per cent linen Resort Shirts are styled on classic cabana shirts, which were made popular in America in the 1950s. You know the silhouette: a relaxed fit with open collar and short sleeves that just scream “out of office”.

Always a stickler for using the best possible materials, Thomas Pink’s new Resort Shirts are made from a premium Italian fabric that’s soft, breathable and comfy while carrying colour beautifully. Which is handy, because the new collection dives headfirst into vibrant, summer-approved colours, as well as graphic prints. Wear the new shirts on their own or layer up with a simple T-shirt underneath. Piña colada and swimming pool optional.
