Four Seasons Hotel Megève in summer

In the 100 years since Baroness Noémie de Rothschild discovered the Alpine haven of Megève and the Mont d’Arbois plateau, the resort has become a byword for luxury skiing at the highest level. The village of Megève is a beautiful spot, combining a medieval square and cobbled streets with celebrated restaurants and unrivalled shopping surrounded by spectacular flora and fauna. While often favoured for winter sports, the village resort presents opportunities for stargazing, nature hikes, climbing, golfing, canyoning and wellness activities come summer; and where better to discover these verdant slopes than the Four Seasons Hotel Megève.

Perched right on the side of the Mont d’Arbois (and offering ski-in, ski-out access in the winter), the Four Seasons Hotel Megève is a mountain jewel for the whole family, blending contemporary French design with Alpine tradition. The unrivalled panoramic vista viewed from many of the luxuriously appointed rooms and restaurants takes in Mont Blanc and the Aravis mountain range.

This summer, for the first time, guests can enjoy a stay at the hotel’s Ideal Suite 1850, the highest suite in MegèveLocated at an altitude of 1,850 metres from the village on a secluded mountain, the suite provides a tranquil sanctuary for stargazing and guests can choose to be accompanied by an astronomer from the Mont d’Arbois observatory for “A Night Above the Clouds”. Using cutting-edge equipment to uncover the secrets of the cosmos, guests will learn all about galaxies, nebulae and star clusters, along with a delicious, private Savoyard dinner.
