"Lord of Snow" is a luxurious, ski-in/ski-out chalet in Courchevel 1850

Haute Montagne, the sister brand of Bramble Ski, has unveiled Lord of Snow, a spectacular chalet in the prestigious Courchevel 1850, a resort synonymous with glamour, world-class skiing and unparalleled alpine luxury.

Spans across six floors

Designed by renowned French architect Sophie Decoopman, who’s known for being adept at fusing traditional and modern elements, this six-storey, 1,237sqm property is arguably set to redefine standards for chalets in the area.

On the traditional front, Lord of Snow uses natural materials such as European larch cladding, parquet floors and lauze slate roofing to harmonise itself with its striking alpine surroundings. The use of sustainable materials like these also reflects the eco-conscious construction of the property, which doesn’t, however, compromise its sophisticated style.

Complete with an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a wine cellar

The chalet can accommodate up to 14 guests across its seven opulent bedrooms. This includes an awe-inspiring master suite adorned with a handpicked collection of antique furniture dating as far back as the 18th century, sourced from museums and private collections. The design epitomises Decoopman’s exquisite fusions of old and new: period pieces are paired with bespoke modern creations, from a custom dining table by L’Atelier des Frères to contemporary masterpieces by designers such as Francesco Binfaré and Patricia Urquiola. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic mountain views so spectacular guests may confuse them for the paintings affixed to the chalet’s walls.

Includes spacious living areas, as well as a home cinema room, gym and games room

With guests inevitably exhausting themselves on the sublime skiing slopes of the region, Lord of Snow offers them a private spa featuring an indoor pool, hammam, sauna and, if they have any energy left, a state-of-the-art gym. For entertainment, guests can recline on the plush seating in the home cinema, which boasts cutting-edge 4K projection and sound, or enjoy a game of billiards in the chalet’s stylish lounge. Meanwhile, a private chef is on hand to prepare gourmet meals that can be paired with wines selected by an in-house sommelier. Speaking of which, exclusive experiences like sommelier-led tastings and heli-skiing adventures are tailored by Haute Montagne’s dedicated concierge team.

Nestled in Courchevel 1850, part of the expansive Les Trois Vallées ski area, Lord of Snow grants guests access to some of the world’s finest pistes, alongside Haute Montagne’s unparalleled service. Rates here start from £125,300 per week on a fully serviced basis, including private chef, concierge and in-chalet ski and boot delivery.
