Bold, sporty and daring, TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 is the perfect representation of the sport from which it takes its name. First introduced in 1987, it built on the watchmaker’s considerable expertise in motor racing timepieces while bringing something fresh and different to its catalogue. It would come in the form of a bright and eye-catching watch, harnessing the quartz technology of the time.
Today the collection continues to push the boundaries of both design and technical features, equipped for even the most challenging of laps around the track. The latest addition is a UK online exclusive, decked out with flashes of intense yellow around the 60 second/minute scale flange and on the central hand tip.
Continuing the high-octane appearance is the textured carbon fibre dial, in a chequered pattern recalling the start line of a race. Meanwhile, the high-precision quartz chronograph comes fitted on a stylish and ergonomic stainless steel and carbon fibre bracelet, complete with an extension to easily wear the watch over a racing suit.
